The 2025 event, slated for Sept. 11-13 in Omaha, Neb., will challenge and encourage attendees to further develop the knowledge and services they offer food animal producers. Early registration is open.

Based on the Drovers State of the Industry survey, the majority of producers agree or strongly agree that environmental impact, animal welfare, sustainable practices and desire of high-quality beef will be increasingly important.

Merck Animal Health partners with the American Veterinary Consultants Foundation to award $10,000 to each recipient.

The selection committee evaluated the applicants on a variety of criteria, including their overall interest in working in dairy medicine and management practices that will improve animal health and well-being.
