The Academy of Veterinary Consultants (AVC) will hold its Summer Conference in Denver on August 9, 10 and 11. The Renaissance Denver Stapleton Hotel will once again host the conference, and offers special rates for AVC attendees, but the cutoff date for guaranteeing the best rate is Wednesday, July 11.

AVC holds three conferences each year, with a heavy focus on continuing education for veterinarians. The summer conference meets the requirements for 16 hours of continuing education through Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine Continuing Education Department.

The AVC Executive Board and various committees will hold meetings through the day on Thursday, August 9, and the conference kicks off with a sponsored dinner and reception that evening. The Friday and Saturday programs feature a broad range of presentations, with highlights including:
