A recent bovinevetonline.com poll shows about 44% veterinarians would not recommend a career path as a large animal veterinarian. Here’s the breakdown:

American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) 2016 Market Research data shows:

>  1.8% of private practice veterinarians are food animal exclusive

> 4.5 are food animal predominant and 5.9% are mixed animal practitioners

>  A whopping 66.6% of veterinarians are companion animal exclusive.
