AABP Passes Gavel to Dr. Glenn Rogers

During the recent American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP) annual conference, the membership honored outgoing president Dr. Mike Apley, from Kansas State University, and welcomed Dr. Glenn Rogers as the new AABP president.
Rogers, who has worked in private practice, academia and in industry, currently is semi-retired while running his ranch in Texas and providing some consulting services to beef-cattle clients.
About 1,200 AABP veterinarian members attended this year’s conference in Phoenix, Ariz., along with 300 veterinary-student members. Industry representatives presented the latest bovine veterinary products and services in 150 trade-show exhibits.
