Washington-Oregon (Columbia Basin) Weekly Hay Report

   Compared to last week, Premium and Supreme Alfalfa steady in a light 

test. Trade slow this week with light to moderate demand for export and dairy 

hay. Exporters continue to deal with delays at the ports. Dairies prepare for 

a major price adjustment after the 1st of the year. A local dairy processor, 

after the first of the year is discounting class 3 milk 1.25/cwt from the CME 

price and anything over quota will be discounted another 3.00/cwt. 

Retail/Feedstore hay steady in a light test. All prices are dollars per ton 

and FOB the farm or ranch unless otherwise stated.
