Animal health companies increase R&D investments
Animal Health Institute member companies invested $747 million in 2012 on the discovery and development of new medicines for animals and the maintenance of existing products. That figure is a 4.6 percent increase over the previous year, according to AHI’s latest Research and Development Survey. Read More

Trichomoniasis on the move
Shifting cow numbers have brought trichomoniasis to new areas. Severe drought in the Southern Plains has caused a shift in cow numbers, as they are moved to areas in the Midwest where grass is available.
