Registration is underway for the 2015 Purdue Veterinary Conference Sept. 8-12 in West Lafayette, Ind. The annual conference is designed to provide continuing education opportunities for the entire veterinary team.
Content will include new aquaculture track, bovine, small animal, food animal, equine, topics of interest for veterinary technicians, professional development and shelter medicine. Workshops will include clin path-cytology, clin path-chemistry, vet tech specialtyworkshops in anesthesia and clinical pathology and milking system simulator lab. All conference sessions and special events will take place on Purdue’s campus locations in West Lafayette.
The 2015 conference will offer new speakers, workshops and special events including a celebration for the 50th anniversary Class of 1965. Graduates of the classes of 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010 also are celebrating reunion years. The awards celebration will be Wednesday evening (Sept. 9), and Meet Me @ the Mixer will take place Thursday evening (Sept. 10). The mixer will include recognition of both Veterinary Technology and DVM reunion classes.
General sessions will take place in the Purdue Stewart Center, 128 Memorial Mall, West Lafayette, and the Exhibit Hall will be located in the Purdue Memorial Union South Ballroom, 101 N. Grant St., West Lafayette. Free parking will be available at the First United Methodist Church, 1700 State Road 26W, West Lafayette. Shuttles will be available to/from Stewart Center throughout the program.
