Dan Upson, DVM, PhD, and Harold Amstutz, DVM, were the first recipients of the inaugural Cattle Production Veterinarian Hall of Fame for beef and dairy veterinarians, respectively. Sponsored by Merck, the American Association of Bovine Veterinarians, the Academy of Veterinary Consultants, Bovine Veterinarian and Osborn & Barr, Upson and Amstutz received their awards at the AABP closing event in St. Louis on Sept. 24.
