UC Davis food animal seminar

The UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine Food Animal and Reproduction Medicine Club will hold its 4th Annual Food Animal Practitioners CE Seminar on Jan. 12, 2013.

The seminar will be held at the Gladys Valley Hall Room 1030, UCD School of Veterinary Medicine

Topics will include dairy calf colostrum recommendations, dairy feed management and nutrient variation, cow health and metritis, USDA training module 3 (available for USDA accreditation credit), poisoning work-ups, sensitivity/specificity and predictive values, California swine medicine and infectious diseases in goat herds.

Speakers include Drs. Michael Lairmore, Munashe Chigerwe, Heidi Rossow, Dale Moore, Dennis Wilson, Birgit Puschner, Ashley Hill, Scott Haskell and Joan Dean Rowe.

Eight continuing education credits are available to veterinarians.
