The new Jr. Animal Scientist program helps kids learn more about science and the animal world. Kids ages 5 to 12 can explore science careers and study the lives of pets, farm animals and zoo animals.

All Jr. Animal Scientists receive a full year subscription to Jr. Animal Scientist magazine. The magazine has great resources for learning at home or in the classroom:

- Articles written just for kids to explain scientific concepts. The first issue focuses on the science of milk production. Future issues will focus on concepts like thermoregulation and genetics.

- Full-color photographs and graphics to illustrate the science. Kids can see how scientific research is relevant in their lives.
