stocker calfGeni Wren The UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine will offer its 2nd Annual Beef Improvement & Low Stress Cattle Handling Seminar on Jan. 12, 2013, at the veterinary school in Davis, Calif.

The conference will feature cattle handling, lameness, holistic beef production, foothill abortion, NBQA updates, beef cattle welfare, marketing, euthanasia, anaplasmosis and more.

Speakers include Lynn Locatelli, Dr. Anita Varga, Dr. Nancy Martin, Dr. Jeff Stott, Dr. Jim Oltjen, Dr. Cassandra Tucker, Morgan Doran, Dr. Matt Cuneo and Dr. John Maas.

Attendees can receive Beef Quality Assurance certification and recertification from the California Cattlemen’s Association at this seminar.
