The six beef and dairy veterinarian nominees who will be voted on by their peers are:
- Beef – Dr. Robert Bohlender, Dr. Robert Pierson and Dr. Don Williams
- Dairy – Dr. David Morrow, III, Dr. H. Fred Troutt and Dr. Elmer Woelffer
AVC members can vote in person at the April 11-13 AVC meeting in Norman, Okla., or AVC’s Aug. 1-3 meeting in Colorado Springs, Colo., or online at www.avc-beef.org.

The Cattle Production Veterinarian Hall of Fame was established in 2011 to celebrate the rich traditions of production veterinary medicine by honoring the exceptional men and women who have made lasting contributions to the veterinary profession.
Five organizations sponsor the hall of fame including the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, the Academy of Veterinary Consultants, Bovine Veterinarian, Merck Animal Health and Osborn Barr, an agricultural marketing and communications company.
