Do you know a promising student who’s interested in food animal medicine? Are you a student looking for an externship or in need of help to fund an externship?
Apply for the AABP Student Externship Program. It’s a scholarship to enable students with an interest in bovine medicine to use their summers and school breaks to gain experience in the field.
Applications for funding are available from any faculty representative and on the AABP website. For more information and a printable application form, please check out the AABP website. You’ll find the information in the Student Section under “AABP Grants”.
There is online access to submit your application, as well as reference letters from faculty members. We have also added a database of clinics interested in hosting students online under the Student Section of the website under “Externships”.
Additional information can be obtained by contacting the AABP Headquarters in Auburn, Ala., at firstname.lastname@example.org or 334-821-0442.
The deadline for applications for externships occurring between Nov. 1, 2012 and April 30, 2013 is Oct. 1, 2012.
