With the USDA’s new Animal Disease Traceability rules taking effect this year, traceability and associated record keeping become an increasingly high priority for veterinarians and producers. To address existing issues and look forward to the future of traceability, the National Institute for Animal Agriculture (NIAA) and the U.S. Animal Health Association (USAHA) will jointly host the 2013 Animal Disease Traceability Joint Forum August 6 and 7 in Denver. The forum immediately precedes the Cattle Industry Summer Conference, which takes also place in Denver on August 7 through 10, offering an opportunity to participate in both events with one trip. More details will be available soon on the NIAA website.
