The event begins with committee meetings at 10:00, followed by a lunch and program titled “BVDzero Webcongress, hosted by Boehringer Ingelheim, from 11:00 to 2:00. The BVD program features three presentations:
· Herd Level Diagnostic Approaches for BVDV - Dr. George Caldow.
· The Impact and Control of Bovine Reproductive Pathogens - Dr. Dan Givens.
· Recent Advances in BVDV Pathogenesis - Dr. Julia Ridpath.
Dinner Thursday evening, hosted by Bayer Animal Health, features a presentation from Dr. Del Miles and Dr. Bob Smith titled "New Directions for an Old Problem."
Friday features a full day of presentations, and the programming continues until noon on Saturday.
The spring meeting has been submitted (but not yet approved) for 18 hours of continuing education credit.
